Preceded at 12.15 p.m. by the ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING.

Former England Test & ODI player who played for Middlesex.Note: This meeting will be held at The Avenue Methodist Church, Wincham Road, Sale M33 4PL

Monday 2nd February- 1.00 p.m. ALEX CROPPER – LANCASHIRE’S NEW MUSEUM & HERITAGE MANAGER talking to Malcolm Lorimer regarding the exciting news about the new Heritage Centre at Emirates Old Trafford.

Rev. Malcolm Lorimer will also be telling six unusual stories about Heritage and Lancashire.

Monday 16th February- 1.00 p.m. ASHLEY GILES
Worcestershire CEO and former spin bowler who helped England win the Ashes in 2005 & was in charge when Lancashire won the T20 Blast.

Monday 9th March – 7.30 p.m. SCOTT OLIVER
Writer of ‘Sticky Dogs’ a book about the Lancashire Leagues and international players.

Monday 23rd March – 1.00 p.m. CHANGE OF SPEAKERS: PAUL EDWARDS & GRAHAM HARDCASTLE
Former Lancashire batsman & captain Stuart Law is currently in Nepal and unable to join us as planned. We hope to rearrange Stuart’s visit for the autumn.
Journalists & authors Paul Edwards & Graham Hardcastle have stepped in to be our speakers instead, and will be talking about their newly-launched Lancashire-dedicated website Lanky Lanky, as well as all things Lancashire as the new season fast approaches.

All parking is FREE and ON-SITE.

Membership cards must be produced at every meeting.

Visitors to meetings are welcome on payment of £5 which entitles temporary membership for that evening. The same guest may not come to a meeting on more than two occasions in one season.

All meetings are subject to possible cancellation or alteration.

Whenever possible any alterations will be notified to members by e-mail, newsletter, on this website and by social media platform X.

The Society has an e-mail list which is only open to members and is used to contact subscribers in order to inform them of any changes of speaker, time or venue for meetings published in the winter programme.
